Before

The rear of the bungalow at Roydon on the first day, with the garden cleared and a digger at work — The house as we found it, on the first day.

A rear extension to give the house a living and dining room and a gym, built off the back of the existing bungalow through 2025 and 2026. The garden was cleared and the footings set out from the drawings.

The work

Footings dug and poured, a reinforced slab laid, and the perimeter walls built in blockwork before the roof structure went on. The engineered joists span the full width of the new room without a beam below.
